Raymond James Hybrid position – St. Petersburg office. No travel required. Description reflects an opportunity for a part-time Paralegal/Legal Assistant for Spring Semester 2025, under general supervision, with duties in general litigation, corporate governance, and regulatory reporting support. Responsibilities

Specified projects and varied assignments. Research, compile information and assist in preparing responses to regulatory authorities. Draft standard legal and business communications in support of attorneys and paralegals; prepare legal documents and other correspondence with or without attorney supervision. Provide legal and administrative support for entity management and corporate governance processes and systems. Perform fact gathering and basic legal research with LexisNexis, WestLaw, and other resources. Coordinate with internal partners to obtain information for research and analysis. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of a professional office environment. Knowledge of laws, legal codes, precedents, and government regulations. Knowledge of intermediate paralegal concepts, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of principles of banking, finance, and securities industry operations. Knowledge of fundamental corporate governance with a regulated entity. Skill in operating standard office equipment and using or learning required software applications. Skill in assembling and organizing legal documents. Skill in gathering, maintaining, and organizing information and large volumes of documents. Skill in preparing routine legal documents, correspondence, memos, letters, and reports. Ability to maintain professional discretion and privacy/confidentiality. Ability to read, comprehend, and apply legal information. Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to utilize established procedures, processes, and checklists. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Ability to provide a high level of customer service. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Educational/Experience Requirements

Currently pursuing a Paralegal Studies or Legal Assistant Studies certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university. Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources. Location
