Front Desk Team Member – Gold’s Gym – Austin Highland
The Front Desk Team Member warmly greets members, guests, and staff, manages front door access, and handles administrative duties directed by the General Manager. As the first point of contact, they create a welcoming atmosphere and support a memorable guest experience.
Responsibilities
Enthusiastically greet each member and guest promptly to create a friendly and positive entrance and departure experience.
Provide security and control of the front door and retail area.
Check members into the gym using proper procedures and monitor check‑ins to identify delinquent accounts.
Register guests and direct appointments to the appropriate personal trainer.
Answer calls professionally, take messages, and follow up with management.
Respond promptly to member requests, inquiries, and concerns.
Maintain a neat appearance, wear proper uniform and nametag while on duty.
Distribute keys, towels, and other materials as needed.
Process retail and concession sales and help maintain inventory.
Attend staff meetings and keep the front desk area clean and organized.
Log and report maintenance concerns and safety issues.
Notify management of any incidents requiring incident reports.
Work when scheduled and adhere to attendance policies.
Perform other reasonable work assignments, including light cleaning and assisting with weights.
Assist in membership sales, assign barcodes, take member photos, and schedule complimentary PT sessions.
Handle member account changes and manual agreements.
Assist with receiving orders and checking in retail and concession products.
Assist members with registering for classes via the app.
Other duties as assigned.
