Job Responsibilities Mission of Position Magna Powertrain’s Transformation is the organization’s holistic effort to continuously evolve and modernize the organization. The Transformation Office (TO) is at the heart of the effort – it sets the pace and direction of the program, oversees execution across functions, and debottlenecks challenges. The TO specialist has the unique opportunity to see the business end‑to‑end through driving a rigorous process, managing program transparency, and mobilizing senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities Support TO cadence (i.e., key transformation meetings)
Operationally support TO meetings (e.g., prepare meeting invitations, take / send / and close‑loop on meeting actions, issue/print meeting materials, produce high quality presentation material)
Together with TO leadership, set priorities for the program (e.g., update TO meetings - include participant list, agenda, and targeted deep dives)
Provide ad‑hoc problem solving and work with key stakeholders to drive issues to resolution in (e.g., develop targets, transformation rules of engagement, reconcile actual financials with other sources, develop communications drafts (including workshop materials))
Brief TO on issues/update (in structured top‑down manner, as needed), facilitate discussion / present in meetings (as needed), and serve as thought partner in probing initiative rationale (e.g., questions to push problem solving, clarifications).
Maintain TO tools and process
Create / manage users on transformation software (i.e., transformation performance management tool), update software dashboards and configuration based on evolving business need, and support workstreams in data quality (i.e., valuation and approval)
Shape the future of continuous improvement at MPT by helping to define the structure and scope of future phases of the Transformation.
Support executive reporting
Create high‑level read out reports (e.g., lessons learned, transformation sharing / celebrations, change stories, program guidance documents, etc.)
Understand business need and data sources to provide answers to the relevant questions, structure dashboards and automate reports to minimize the time required to repeat the analysis

Practice and maintain integrity while following Magna’s Charter and Constitution.
Follow Magna’s Code of Conduct and Ethics and related compliance policies.
Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system (IATF 16949).
Drive the development of new technologies to improve quality, efficiency and reduce cost.
Comply with safety policies and procedures to ensure duties of self are performed in a safe manner.
Health & Safety responsibilities:
Understands and enforces Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures and rules.
Involved in accident / incident investigation, reporting and corrective actions.
Reviews safety incidents, memos, etc. with employees.
Train new employees.
Correct unsafe acts and conditions.
Ensure use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Assess employee safety performance as part of performance appraisal.
Create a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional/technical knowledge.
Develop and maintain a responsive and cooperative working relationship with internal and external customers.
Treat everyone with dignity, trust and respect.
Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements And Qualifications
Basic understanding of the automotive industry
Background in modeling, data visualization, and dashboard development
Experience in project management role involving senior executives is a plus
Advanced data analytics and/or statistical tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Python, SQL, etc.)
Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluent communication skills in local language and English
Insatiable curiosity for more value (how do I get more, faster)
Pragmatic problem‑solver (employs 80/20 approach)
Work Environment Office environment; Domestic & international travel required.
While working in this environment, the employee will be exposed to machinery, moving equipment and material, moderate noise, airborne particles, fumes and various levels of temperature created by the manufacturing process.
