Come join our team as a Therapist or Social Worker at Park Royal Hospital. You will receive detailed training, ongoing support, and opportunities to develop new skills while contributing to essential patient care. Park Royal Hospital is a private, free-standing 114-bed psychiatric hospital serving adults 18 years and older and senior adults, providing inpatient and outpatient treatment for depression, anxiety, mood disorders, memory problems, PTSD, and other mental illnesses, including co-occurring substance use disorders. Provide group psychotherapy to patients diagnosed with a mental health or co-occurring disorder, including individual and family sessions as appropriate. Maintain an assigned caseload, evaluate and assess individual needs, prepare treatment plans, provide case management, discharge planning and after-care planning. Conduct dynamic group sessions both onsite and virtually, Monday through Friday. Maintain excellent documentation and participate in treatment team meetings; collaborate with other staff to facilitate patient services. Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop initial treatment plans. Provide individual, group, or family sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan; may work in inpatient or outpatient settings. Assist in educating and training staff on behavior management or therapeutic crisis intervention as needed. Provide case management, discharge planning, or after-care planning according to the treatment plan. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers; prioritize patient safety and address concerns as needed. Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. Education/Experience/Skill Requirements – Therapists
Master\'s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services field required. One or more years’ experience working with a comparable patient population required. Licenses/Designations/Certifications – Therapists
Requisite state or national licensure for professional therapy providers or eligible for state licensure as a professional therapy provider. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility. Education/Experience/Skill Requirements – Social Workers
Bachelor\'s degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university, including new graduates, required. One or more years’ experience working with the patient population preferred. Licenses/Designations/Certifications – Social Workers
Eligible for state licensure as one of: Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC), Registered Addiction Counselor (RAC), as required by the state of operation. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility.
