School Social Worker

Description Mahomet‑Seymour CUSD #3 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join our support services team at Lincoln Trail Elementary. The ideal candidate will provide social‑emotional support, crisis intervention, and collaborate with families, staff, and community agencies to ensure a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment. The School Social Worker will be responsible for conducting special education evaluations and supporting students with 504s/IEPs. This position will begin with the second semester of the 2025‑2026 School Year.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW).

Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker Endorsement.

Salary and Benefits

Starting salary: $46,784 (MS+30 Lane placement on the attached 2025‑2026 Teacher Salary Schedule).

A $5,000.00 sign‑on bonus is available with a three‑year commitment to the district.

Licensed Clinical Social Workers can earn an additional $1,500 per year stipend.
