Under general supervision of a licensed provider, a Lab Collector collects urine and swab samples from patients in a timely manner and performs related clinical duties. We are seeking motivated individuals with excellent communication skills who can problem-solve and multitask in a fast-paced practice. You will gain knowledge of organizational policies and procedures in support of the department. This is a full-time position reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager. The position’s primary locations will be Region 13 clinic locations (see below) and may change based on coverage/business needs. Region 13 Operating Schedule
Savannah (ASC): Tue/Thu/Fri 8am–5pm (with alternating Fridays) Pooler: Wednesdays 8am–5pm Responsibilities
Triage patients to be seen by providers, including rooming patients, taking vitals, merging patient charts, and communicating directly with patients. Assist providers in exam rooms. Effectively process messages between patients and administration or other medical offices. Report to office manager and/or practice administrator. Skills & Abilities (minimum Qualifications)
Must be willing to travel to other locations. Must be responsive and comfortable handling and processing urine samples. Must be able to conduct cheek swabs. Detail-oriented. Previous clinical experience. Willingness To Cross-train On All Other Clinical Responsibilities
Other duties as assigned. Education And Experience (preferred Qualifications)
Experience using eClinicalWorks or other EHR system preferred. 1-year clinical experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Key Details
