Insurance defense litigation firm is seeking a highly motivated full-time personal injury litigation paralegal. The successful applicant must be able to draft and respond to discovery; summarize and analyze medical records, discovery responses, deposition transcripts, and demands; prepare case/claim analysis reports; and interact with clients in a deadline-oriented environment. Prior experience in motion work is not a requirement.
Responsibilities Include
Draft pleadings, discovery, medical and discovery summaries, demands, and other legal documents. Draft discovery motions, oppositions, and replies. Coordinate, assemble, and prepare documents for production and proceedings. Investigating facts and laws of cases and searching public records and other resources to prepare case analysis reports and determine causes of action. Communicate with clients, when necessary. Work in a team-based structure.
Skills/Qualifications
3-7 years of experience litigation (required). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, writing and analytical skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and ensure timely completion. Knowledge of local, state, and federal court rules and filing procedures. Works independently with minimal supervision and instruction. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc. and Adobe). Has a team-player attitude and is reliable.
Required Education
Associate or Bachelor’s degree ABA Paralegal Certificate

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
