This is a full-time (in-person) position for a legal assistant with 2-5 years of experience in Miami, Florida.
Are you a legal assistant with guardianship/estate planning/probate experience (experience in civil matters is comparable)? Do you want to work at a fast-growing law firm where your work really matters?

Responsibilities
Assisting attorneys in guardianship cases
Preparing detailed case notes for managing attorney
Preparing estate planning documents (i.e. wills, living wills, powers of attorney, HIPPA releases and healthcare surrogates)
Speaking with clients and potential clients to answer their questions and provide reassurance when needed
Preparing correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and potential clients
Managing client information and organizing client files
Serve as backup support for the front desk, including greeting clients, answering phones, and handling general office tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with efficiency. They take initiative and demonstrate strong follow-through, proactively identifying ways to improve task tracking and workflow systems. This person is self-motivated, task-oriented, and capable of working independently to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time. Excellent time management, accountability, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Fluent in English and Spanish, including suitable Spanish writing skills
Proficient with Adobe and Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
Excellent writing/editing skills, including proofreading skills
Strong attention to detail in documents
High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
Demonstrates a professional demeanor
Strong communication skills as s/he will serve as the “face” of the firm throughout the matter's progress
