Overview
Part-Time Teaching Assistant - BIO 472, Department of Biology, Eberly College of Science (Rathbun Lab). The Eberly College of Science, Department of Biology, is looking to hire Teaching Assistants (TA) to support Biology courses overseen by the Teaching Faculty during the 2025-2026 academic year. This position will be supervised by Lyndsay Rathbun. The TA will help faculty organize coursework, explain biology concepts to students, and hold office hours and/or review sessions. Applications must be submitted electronically and must include the completed online application form. Preference will be given to full-time registered Penn State students who have successfully completed the course for which they will be assisting. Applications for Biology 472 will be received on an ongoing basis and reviewed as the need arises. Responsibilities
Assist faculty in organizing coursework and supporting students in Biology 472. Explain biology concepts to students and provide clarification as needed. Hold office hours and/or review sessions to assist student learning. Application Instructions
