Shelf is currently seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and experienced Administrative Assistant - Manufacturing Plant, HR - to join our growing team at Slate. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a transformative organization at the forefront of sustainable mobility. This position will serve as a liaison between the Human Resources department and the Warsaw Assembly Plant and will work closely with key stakeholders across Operations, HR, Finance, and Production teams, and other operational teams. What You Get To Do
Ensure a professional and welcoming environment in the reception and common areas Coordinate meeting room bookings, catering, and office supply inventory Manage front desk operations including visitor logs, badge issuance, and general inquiries Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and incoming calls Front Desk & Office Coordination Help coordinate employee engagement activities and internal communications Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and support compliance with HR policies and procedures Assist HR with onboarding coordination, employee file maintenance, and scheduling interviews HR Administrative Support Lead and collaborate with all relevant departments to ensure seamless integration of new documents, schedules, and communication protocols within the plant. Collaborate with Manufacturing to continuously optimize administrative workflows ensuring alignment with organizational standards. Participate in cross‑functional collaboration between Plant Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and all relevant Engineering departments. Capture and interpret data to make decisions and drive improvements to all plant metrics. Use internal systems to collect data and critical information to drive process improvements with Management and Operations. What You Bring To The Team
Associate's degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment supporting operations and/or Human Resources 2+ years of hands‑on experience with document control and office administration, preferably within the Automotive Industry in administrative operations or similar Strong understanding of scheduling, record keeping, office procedures Strong administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to foster collaboration and build effective cross‑functional relationships. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software/tools. Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and assignments simultaneously. Hands‑on experience in office operations supporting overall improvements. Experience in structured problem‑solving methodologies (e.g., Lean Office, Administrative Process Improvement, or similar). Flexibility to take on additional tasks and ownership of different functional areas, as needed. WHY JOIN TEAM SLATE?
