Responsibilities & Qualifications
TekSynap is seeking an
Advanced Kubernetes & Container Management SME
to be responsible for designing, deploying, and sustaining Kubernetes container platforms across multi‑cloud and secure DoD environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Architect, deploy, and sustain Kubernetes clusters across unclassified, classified, and SAP environments.
Develop/manage custom Operators, Helm charts, Admission Controllers, and CRDs.
Implement GitOps practices for IaC/CaC to enable automation.
Provide SME‑level guidance on scaling containerized workloads for JPO mission needs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related (Master’s preferred).
8+ years containerization and Kubernetes experience; 5+ years supporting DoD/secure cloud.
Demonstrated expertise in Helm charts, CRDs, Operators, and GitOps/IaC automation.
DoD 8570: IAT Level II (Security+ CE or higher).
Active Secret clearance (Top Secret/SAP preferred).

Kubernetes cluster design & administration (EKS, AKS, OpenShift, Rancher)
Container orchestration, Helm charts, CRDs, and Operators
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) / GitOps (Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD)
Multi‑cloud integration (AWS, Azure, DoD Cloud)
DoD security compliance for containerized workloads

Amount of Travel : Occasional travel to JPO sites 10‑15% (Ft. Worth, TX; WPAFB, OH)
WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE
US Citizenship
Clearance requirement : Active
Secret clearance
(Top Secret/SAP preferred).
