Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey; sustain patient comfort and provide appropriate education Knowledge of the Account Ledger and Insurance Breakdown Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments Creating and presenting treatment plans Checkout patients and charge for services Create and send claims; send pre-authorizations Utilize Dentrix Ascend for patient scheduling and record keeping Adherence to HIPAA protocols Other duties associated with Business Assistants & Receptionists in a dental office Partner with providers and team to implement systems and maximize office workflow Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months of experience in a dental office / same position Saturday availability is essential (not scheduled every Saturday but being available is a requirement) Start time as early as 8:20 AM End times can vary: Weekdays up to 6:00 PM, with potential to 6:45 PM; Saturdays up to 4:00 PM, with final end time around 4:45 PM Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend Cross-trained or some knowledge of the clinical side Spanish Speaker Job Type & Benefits
