EH094 - Live-In Nanny - Mendham, NJ
British American Household Staffing, Mendham, New Jersey, us, 07945
Overview
A wonderful family living in Mendham, New Jersey, is seeking a career nanny to help care for their 4 children aged 15 months, 3 years, 4 years, and 9 years old. The family would prefer a live-in nanny but would consider a live-out candidate if they live close by, with the schedule being Wednesday through Sunday (Monday and Tuesday off), 7 am - 7 pm.
Mom will be around throughout the day and is very involved in the children's lives, having regular interaction, so the nanny should be comfortable with this dynamic. There is a full-time housekeeper who takes care of all household duties, including the children's areas, but the nanny should be willing to pitch in as and when needed.
The nanny will be provided with private staff live-in quarters on the lower level of the home with a private bathroom and kitchenette. This is an animal-friendly household, with the family owning a dog, but the nanny won't be responsible for his care.
Responsibilities
The nanny would be responsible for preparing and cooking the children's meals (though the family may possibly hire a chef in the future). Create a schedule and routine for the children. The 3 older children attend school, and the nanny would be responsible for driving the eldest to school and collecting them. Research classes and activities in the area for the youngest child to attend. Help with homework when required. Organize outings to enrich and encourage the children's learning, ensuring they are reaching their educational milestones. The candidate should be confident using apps, emails, etc., keeping the parents up to date. Qualifications
5-10 years of experience. Experience working in a home with HNW families. Energetic, flexible, enthusiastic, and reliable candidate. Warm and playful, but also able to set boundaries with the children. Ability to encourage the children to learn life skills. Requirements
Fluent English speaking. Good communicator. Must have a travel-ready passport for both domestic and international travel - the family travels by either plane or boat. Driver with a clean license. Swimmer. Previous experience working with multiple children of a similar age. Salary and Benefits
Salary open, DoE. Full health, dental, vision + 401k. Life insurance. 20 PTO. 5 Sick days.
