Skidmore College’s Education Studies Department and Early Childhood Center (ECC) seek an Academic Administrative Assistant/ECC Coordinator for a full-time, 11-month position. The Academic Administrative Assistant is a focal point of the department and ECC’s office and provides front-line reception and service assistance to faculty, students, parents, community members, and ECC families. Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Budget maintenance Course scheduling Events coordination Course evaluation processing Department/ECC reception and general support Liaison to administrative offices (e.g., Office Services, Purchasing, Registrar’s Office, Facilities, Financial Services, IT) Student employee supervision Report preparation Records management (including ECC student enrollment and records) Supplies and equipment ordering Faculty search support Equipment, technology and facilities maintenance The ECC Coordinator is responsible for recruitment and enrollment management for the ECC classes Minimum Qualifications

Education: Associate\'s Degree with 2-3 years of experience, and evidence of expertise in Early Childhood Education. Experience: Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask; supervisory skills; excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal) and relationship-building skills; proficiency with computers and technology, including word processing, spreadsheets, and accounting applications (Microsoft Office); problem solving, creativity, and resourcefulness. Patience, flexibility and a sense of humor are a plus. Ability to take direction and work independently; ability to maintain confidentiality. Pay
