Discovery Ranch
Discovery Ranch, a leading residential treatment center for boys aged 13-18 in Utah, is seeking Youth Mentors to join our team. As a Youth Mentor, you will have the opportunity to work with our students, helping them develop new skills and promote their personal growth. You will be part of a supportive team of experienced professionals committed to helping young boys heal mentally, physically, and emotionally. Discovery Ranch combines traditional and experiential therapies, including equine therapy and horsemanship programs, to create a clinically sophisticated, relationship-based setting that fosters growth and healing.
Responsibilities
Monitor students' daily routines and chores. Facilitate experiential activities, group therapy, and outdoor recreational activities. Assist students with academic and extracurricular goals. Manage and document behavioral issues and progress. Support students and their families. Maintain a safe and positive environment. Ensure physical and emotional safety, responding to emergencies as needed. Collaborate with the treatment team. Teach values such as Responsibility, Grit, Honesty, Respect, Courage, Kindness, and Accountability. Participate in ongoing training to uphold high standards of care. Details
Full or part-time hours | $14-17/hour BOE Shift Schedule
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 2:30-11pm + 2 Sundays a month 4-11pm Tuesday & Thursday 2:30-11pm, Saturday 4-11pm + 2 Sundays a month 4-11pm Located in Mapleton, Utah. Benefits & Perks

Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record check Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility, patience, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Ability to respond effectively in crisis situations Passionate about working with youth Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field preferred but not required Experience with teenagers preferred First Aid & CPR certification (may be provided) Additional Benefits
