Trueline's client, a respected insurance defense law firm with a strong presence in California and Nevada, is seeking a
Litigation Paralegal
to join their downtown Los Angeles team. This hybrid role requires a minimum of two in-office days per week and offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters across multiple practice areas, including professional liability, construction, and premises defense.
Must-Haves as the Litigation Paralegal
Bachelor’s degree and an ABA‑approved Paralegal Certificate
4+ years of litigation paralegal experience in state and federal trial courts
Proficiency in Westlaw, iManage, Adobe Pro, Microsoft Office, and e‑discovery platforms
Expertise in calendaring, e‑filing, and managing court deadlines
Strong skills in drafting, filing, and serving legal pleadings in state/federal courts and arbitrations
Experience organizing exhibits and supporting materials for depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials
Ability to manage Bluebooking for federal cases and state cases according to the California Style Manual
Demonstrated ability to oversee complex discovery processes, including e‑discovery and third‑party subpoenas
Self‑motivated with outstanding problem‑solving abilities
Exceptional references
Nice-to-Haves as the Litigation Paralegal
Experience providing trial/arbitration support, including witness preparation and coordination with courts/vendors
Familiarity with insurance defense litigation practices and procedures
Strong research, writing, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to thrive under pressure while juggling multiple priorities
