Grand Blanc Community Schools . The Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Social Worker utilizes leadership, advocacy, and collaboration to implement a data-driven multi-tiered system of support that addresses students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. They collect and analyze data to guide interventions, provide direct support through individual and group services, and consult with educators and families to enhance student success. Additionally, they coordinate with community agencies, assist families in navigating the educational system, and ensure the implementation of effective intervention strategies to promote positive student outcomes. Available Locations: Doyle Ryder Elementary (Pre-K to 6th) Southwestern Classical Academy (9th to 12th) Salary & Benefits Teacher Basic Salary Schedule +$10,000 Commitment Bonus* 183 days per year Health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance. Employees shall be subject to the co-payment of health care costs equal to the difference between the premium cost and the annual cost limitation imposed on public employers. The commitment bonus shall be distributed to eligible teachers based on available and sustainable funds and payable in accordance with District policy and guidelines. Qualifications Education: Must Hold One Of The Following Preliminary School Social Worker Certificate (PSSWC) Professional School Social Worker Certificate (PSWC) School Social Worker Permit (SSWP) Experience Previous social work experience in a public school setting preferred. All applicants must submit an online application along with: A signed cover letter Current resume Copy of transcripts Three signed professional letters of recommendation (preferably within the last 18 months) These documents should be scanned and uploaded through the online application process.
