Our client is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal with a strong background in supporting attorneys through every stage of case management. Skilled in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents, conducting research, and maintaining accurate case files to ensure compliance and efficiency. Adept at managing multiple priorities in fast-paced legal environments while delivering exceptional client service and maintaining strict confidentiality. Key Responsibilities
Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence. Conduct legal research and gather supporting documentation for case preparation. Maintain and organize client files (both physical and electronic) to ensure accessibility and compliance with firm procedures. Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings, depositions, and client meetings. File documents with the court electronically and in person; coordinate with clerks, judges’ assistants, and opposing counsel. Handle client communication with professionalism and empathy, providing updates and gathering information as needed. Assist with trial preparation, including compiling exhibits, witness lists, and case summaries. Track deadlines, manage case timelines, and ensure prompt completion of required filings and responses.
