Job Summary: Glass Roots Construction, LLC is a nationwide fiber optic construction firm founded in 2022 by telecom and construction professionals. They are seeking an Aerial Foreman to supervise and coordinate aerial telecom construction projects, manage a team, and ensure compliance with safety standards while meeting project specifications. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage aerial linemen crews, ensuring all team members understand their tasks and responsibilities. • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead fiber optic and coaxial networks. • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including OSHA regulations and company policies. • Plan and schedule daily tasks, allocate resources, and track project progress. • Perform quality control checks to ensure work meets project specifications and company standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including equipment malfunctions and cable damage. • Maintain accurate records of materials used, project timelines, and team performance. • Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. • Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to team members to enhance skills and productivity. Qualifications: Required: • Proven experience as an Aerial Lineman, with at least 2 years in a leadership or foreman role. • In-depth knowledge of aerial construction techniques, tools, and safety protocols. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. • Experience with fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing. • Familiarity with National Electric Safety Code (NESC) standards. • Proficiency in project management and tracking tools. • Certifications in bucket truck operation, climbing, or safety training (a plus). • Must be willing to travel. Preferred: • Experience with fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing. • Familiarity with National Electric Safety Code (NESC) standards. • Proficiency in project management and tracking tools. • Certifications in bucket truck operation, climbing, or safety training (a plus).
