Position Summary

Manage all aspects of product preparation and oversee and monitor the performance of production as it relates to quality, safety, productivity, waste control, and scheduling. Duties & Responsibilities

Manage and complete work orders as determined by production schedule Manage assigned production lines Cross functional interaction to resolve technical problems, scheduling conflicts, equipment issues, etc. Manage staff of hourly employees to include: scheduling personnel to meet production requirements taking disciplinary action per company policy drafting and delivering performance evaluations training and development, timecard management, handling employee relations issues Enforces safety and housekeeping rules and policies in areas of personnel and security Coach, mentor and develop staff, including preparing and conducting employee performance appraisal Maintain employee work schedules including timecard approval, work assignments, job rotation, training, vacations and paid time off Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action Required Education, Skills & Experience

AS Degree with job experience is preferred Ability to work with numbers, perform calculations, mechanically inclined Good communication, verbal and written skills Good leadership skills to influence and motivate associates 5 plus years of production experience in high-speed canning/bottling operation Some supervisory experience preferred Proficiency with MS Office suite Experience with ERP systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, etc.) Proven leadership in aspects of the safety program Multi-disciplinary understanding of the plant operations Working Conditions
