Airswift is seeking an Offshore Operations Manager for an initial 18-month contract with a leading company in the wind energy industry in North Kingstown, RI. Work schedule: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation. Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for all offshore construction activities on behalf of the Construction Project Manager (CPM). Ensure a safe working environment during construction and commissioning of the windfarm. Oversee offshore site setup and coordination. Implement Clients Project Governance (processes, procedures, tools). Manage internal and external stakeholders (construction packages, suppliers, authorities). Daily coordination of offshore activities across assets, suppliers, and departments. Onboard and train Offshore Operations staff (Site Technicians, Coordinators, HSE advisors, etc.). Participate in industry forums and contribute lessons learned. Manage budget and contractual obligations. Plan and coordinate construction, marine, and helicopter activities. Liaise with all packages (WTG, Cables, Foundations) and contractors (e.g., SGRE, Fred Olsen). Support onboarding and preparation for all packages and contractors. Chair weekly installation interface meetings. Provide input to interface and risk registers. Ensure HSE execution plan is implemented and updated. Manage internal handover process and snag/punch lists. Oversee interim maintenance on offshore assets. Assign tasks to Site Techs and support roles. Maintain relations with authorities, suppliers, and stakeholders. Provide input for tenders, budgets, and forecasts. Manage interfaces with neighbouring windfarms and construction sites. Enforce regulatory and contractual requirements. Create scopes of work and procure services (CTV, SOV, GV, AJU, etc.). Support recruitment and procurement of site staff. Ensure effective offshore communication systems. Onboard new team members and standardize offshore support processes. Approve invoices and staff expenses. Request resources and equipment from the CPM. Jointly plan and approve daily offshore installation activities. Authority to stop site activities if safety or compliance standards are not met. Qualifications:

5–8 years of documented experience in construction management, preferably offshore. 5–8 years of leadership experience in large-scale wind farm projects. Seniority level
