Midwest Region (MO, IA, MN, WI, IL) – you must be located in one of these states.
Hours:
8:00 am–4:30 pm CST.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Handle orders, inquiries, concerns, and requests related to Purina products and services via phone, email, and fax.
Manage the complete order lifecycle, from entry to invoicing.
Provide direction to cross-functional teams to meet customer fulfillment expectations while ensuring compliance with business processes and quality standards.
Identify problems proactively, determine root causes, and drive resolution of issues related to customer order fulfillment.
Coordinate decision-making to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Communicate, collaborate, and negotiate with internal and external customers and supply chain partners to manage service.
Develop and own customer relationships to anticipate needs and provide proactive service.
Balance adherence to business practices with circumstantial exceptions.
Operate within multiple systems, understanding how information inputs impact systems and business decisions.
Record and manage service requests in Salesforce and order entry systems (JDE E1 and SAP).
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
2–4 years of comparable customer service experience.
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Desirable Traits
4‑year degree in Business, Communications, Agriculture, or a related field.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Interpersonal effectiveness both individually and in teams.
Comfortable managing conflict while maintaining integrity and quality of work.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize, plan, and problem-solve to deliver results.
Experience with SAP.
This position requires a quiet, uninterrupted work environment.
Hourly pay: $20–$24 per hour. Most candidates offered employment will receive a rate near the middle of this range.
