Company Overview Alamo Transit Company (ATC), headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, provides transportation services for Alamo Cement Company and Alamo Concrete Products Company (ACP). Our operations include one cement plant in San Antonio, several cement terminals across Texas, and eight ready-mix divisions throughout the Greater Central/South Texas region. Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Overseeing dispatch team operations Coordinating material deliveries for both external and internal clients Validating orders with production needs in internal tracking system Engaging with contractors and third-party carriers Supporting the Operations Manager in daily responsibilities Reporting and addressing safety concerns with the appropriate personnel Coordinating and attending regular safety meetings with contractors Evaluate and inspect contractor equipment Support the Operations Manager in recruiting new contractors Operate as a liaison to internal and external customers Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the trucking/logistics industry required Fully on-site work environment Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred Availability during all business hours, including nights and weekends Travel required, including limited overnight stays Familiarity with dispatching operations is necessary Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team What Alamo offers you
