Manager I
is responsible for developing the career growth-path for the department personnel, driving a safe workplace environment, and generating plans to meet the organization’s Key Performance Indicators. The Manager I is responsible for identifying, justifying, implementing cost-savings, and efficiency opportunities. The Manager I is accountable for the department’s budget, costs, and workflow. Oversees the preventive maintenance program and systems/equipment uptimes. The Manager I monitors the daily activities, but more importantly creates a strategic vision for the department’s future. The Manager I reports to the Director of Facilities and Maintenance. Facility
The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Tosoh campus and building operations, including maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and ensuring the facility is safe, functional, and meets the needs of occupants while adhering to budget constraints and compliance regulations. The Facility Manager will negotiate contracts, supervise vendors, coordinate scheduled and unscheduled facility related issues. The manager will be responsible for responding to emergencies and implementing improvements to optimize the building’s efficiency. Major Duties And Responsibilities
Requires knowledge of the area of functional responsibility. Plans and manages the department’s budget while keeping track of expenses. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Primary contact for escalating urgent issues and emergency service calls. Assists in reviewing subcontractor and vendor contracts. Hires, creates employee’s career growth plans, schedules training to develop a knowledge-based team. Creates projects, analyzes expenses, provides return on investment (ROI), and defines the safest, most time-efficient, and cost-effective option. Generates and analyzes monthly performance metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Establishes department goals, objectives, and priorities to align and support the organizational goals. Manages, coordinates, and implements effective preventative maintenance procedures to minimize equipment downtime. Coordinates and tracks subcontractor’s preventative maintenance, work-related activities, and maintains the documentation. Coordinates with Procurement with establishing the spare parts inventory. Understands and adheres to all safety requirements. Communicates identified risks to leadership and assists in resolution. Identifies and implements solutions regarding all safety requirements and related issues. Completes all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Contributes to culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct. Maintains a positive attitude, displays enthusiasm for assigned tasks, and communicates effectively and professionally with team members. Other related duties. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field required. Skills And Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Demonstrates cross functional skills with different departments. Demonstrates project organizational skills. Knowledge of calculating and presenting return on investment and cost savings opportunities. Strong decision making and critical thinking skills. Excellent with prioritizing activities and detailed oriented Understanding of managing, planning, implementing, and monitoring projects. Demonstrates leadership skills. Demonstrates business acumen. Physical Requirements
