Site Agent role at Morgan Sindall Infrastructure. This position oversees pre-construction planning and day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring delivery aligns with customer objectives while maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, environmental management, and cost control. Role Responsibilities
Manage site activities to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery in line with contract requirements. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, including risk assessments and method statements. Lead daily coordination with foremen, supervisors, and trades to monitor resources, productivity, and programme progress. Resolve technical challenges, drive continuous improvement, and ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Produce and communicate method statements, forecasts, and progress reports to support effective site management. Monitor performance against programme and budget, proactively managing risks and implementing corrective actions where needed. Liaise with clients, third parties, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and delivery. Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in the water industry (preferred) Strong pre-mobilisation planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills Effective leader with the ability to motivate teams and drive high standards of compliance Excellent operational planning and time management; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Solid knowledge of construction practices, standards, and specifications Collaborative team player with a focus on delivering project and operational performance About the Water | Highways Business Unit
Our Water team designs, builds, and maintains vital UK water infrastructure, ensuring secure water supply and wastewater services. We work with major water companies to create resilient facilities, reduce flood risks, and improve environmental outcomes. Current frameworks include Welsh Water AMP7/AMP8 and projects with Wessex Water for the next five years. These long-term framework agreements are part of a national £88 billion investment requiring a collaborative and agile approach. Our Highways team delivers services from major national projects to local schemes, improving road journeys for millions daily, with expertise in tunnelling, bridges, and more, providing end-to-end project support including design, integration, and construction.
