We’re seeking a self-starter and growth-driven Sales Business Development Manager who thrives on hunting for new business while also strengthening and expanding dealer relationships. This role requires a natural business development mindset – someone energized by opening new doors, securing new accounts, and identifying opportunities – while also serving as a trusted partner who can coach, support, and foster long-term relationships. You’ll be the face of KDK Sales and our manufacturer partners in Chicago, IL, managing your territory with independence, driving measurable growth, and ensuring our dealers have the tools to succeed. Location:

Remote, based in the Chicago metropolitan area Travel:

Daily travel to visit dealers, host trainings, and attend events; overnights and travel outside the territory

What You’ll Do

Hunt for new business by identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities with prospective dealers. Execute short and long-term territory strategies to grow sales, expand brand presence, and capture market share. Build and strengthen consultative relationships with owners, designers, contractors, and key decision makers. Partner with dealers to increase share of wallet and support their success with our cabinetry lines. Conduct product trainings, lunch-and-learns, and showroom visits to build product knowledge and loyalty. Track opportunities and activities in Salesforce; maintain accurate pipelines and territory plans. Collaborate with our Inside Sales & Support team to onboard dealers, resolve issues, and follow up on orders. Proactively manage field warranty/product concerns with customer service, dealers, and distribution partners. Monitor competitive activity and work with leadership to position our products effectively. Represent KDK and our manufacturer partners at regional trade shows, industry events, and dealer promotions. Provide market intelligence and field feedback to improve programs, promotions, and service levels. Qualifications

Essential Qualifications A self-starter with a hunter’s mindset – driven to find, win, and grow new business. Proven ability to grow territory sales and strengthen dealer partnerships. 2+ years in outside sales (cabinetry/building materials strongly preferred). Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to connect at all levels. Organized, proactive, and able to manage a large geographic territory with independence. Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; willingness to travel daily within the territory. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated success selling to large-volume building products accounts. Experience with 20/20 Design and Salesforce.com. Understanding of kitchen layouts, design, and/or installation. Our Culture
