Overview FWI is building a team to support Puerto Rico Department of Housing (PRDOH) Communication Services program for the Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and Community Development Block Grant for Mitigation (CDBG-MIT). The Community Manager will monitor and track online communications, implement social media campaigns, and build friendly relationships with stakeholders, citizens, professionals, and journalists across all digital platforms.

Position is contingent upon contract award Work Schedule and Location Hybrid: This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with some onsite work in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

Monitor, track, report, and provide feedback on online reviews, communications, trends, and/or messages and organize and manage events to boost brand awareness

Set, plan, and implement social media communication campaigns and strategies to improve client communications

Ensure all the posted content is correct and current with client brand, policies, and guidelines

Coordinate and collaborate with other departments in the development of social media strategies to encourage responses that will build friendly relationships with stakeholders, citizens, professionals, and journalists

Provide recommendations to the client on identified opportunities to expose the brand

Respond to all the received messages and interact on a daily basis daily with the community through all the social media accounts of the client

Stay up to date with digital technology trends

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field

3+ years of experience in a related field

Extensive experience planning and leading community activities, ability to identify and track relevant community key performance indicators

Hands‑on experience with social media management, ability to interpret website traffic, attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem solver

Excellent verbal and writing skills in both Spanish and English
