What You’ll Do

Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.

Safely use equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, and excavators.

Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job.

Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.

Use hand tools and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws).

Provide guidance and support to others as needed.

Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.

Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance.

Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

Minimum 18 years of age.

Authorization to work in the United States for this company.

High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.

Valid state driver’s license (non‑provisional) with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.

At least 3 years of related work experience.

Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.

CDL Class “A” driver license preferred.

Physical Abilities & Exposures

Work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces, alone in remote locations; operate vehicle and heavy machinery; use ladder; bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects >55 lbs.

Occasionally use keyboard and mouse.
