Job Description The Shipping Clerk controls and tracks the shipment of all materials, supplies, and customer spare parts & equipment. Collaborates and communicates with other shipping clerks, customer service representatives, and others involved in the shipment of products. Shipper also inspects outgoing aircraft parts and materials against customer-requested documentation.
Inspect, pack, label and weigh the materials for shipment attaching appropriate transport vendor and/or customs paperwork.
Understand Electrostatic Discharge handling and shipping procedures.
Understand Shelf and Service Life product dates.
Understand and abides by Hazardous Material Shipping regulations; must be hazmat certified.
Schedule any pickup that is necessary, i.e., FedEx, APS, LTC or AirFreight.
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Understand and comply with applicable domestic and international shipping restrictions.
Available for after hours AOG duty as scheduled.
Willingness to cross train in other functional areas as directed.
Flexible with start/finish times as directed by Shipping Lead or Manager.

Must be able to stand and/or sit for up to eight hours, set, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
