Purpose of Position
The Retail Business Development Team licenses Inspire Brands to CPG and service companies, to bring our brands to consumers beyond our traditional restaurants. The goal of the team is to generate revenue and build brand loyalty by making our brands widely available where, when, and in the formats consumers desire. This team member position is a key point of contact between external licensed partners and Inspire Brands team leads.
This position will lead the development and execution of CPG retail programs with external license partners that are strategically aligned to drive Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Jimmy John’s, and Sonic businesses.
This position will lead the communication of certain CPG initiatives within the Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Jimmy John’s, and Sonic brand teams.
Responsibilities
As the key point of contact between various license partners and the brands, the manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the day-to-day relationship and communications between Inspire Brands and the licensee to ensure the execution of the yearly plan for the CPG products.
Align with Inspire Brand teams to identify potential areas of growth for the brands in the CPG space.
Oversee annual planning and budgeting for managed licensed businesses.
Monthly forecasting and roll-ups of all revenue and expenses.
Identify potential gaps and areas for growth.
Lead the management of day-to-day activity, creative development, and execution for a variety of marketing programs that will drive restaurant traffic and channel sales, attract new consumers, and incent purchase.
Utilize a variety of traditional and non-traditional marketing tools (FSIs, digital and social marketing, consumer promotion).
Collaborate with Integrated Marketing and/or other CPG business teams to drive cross-channel or product-focused events.
Measure and analyze program results to assess business impact and opportunities for improvement.
Advise tracking of licensee’s progress toward yearly plan achievement.
Lead internal approval processes of various marketing and packaging elements.
Ensure timely communication of retail partner business strategies and activities within the organization and out to the franchisee community.
Collaborate with licensed partners in development of new product innovation and launch activities.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business; additional education a plus.
5+ years of marketing program or brand management experience.
Demonstrated track record of executing business-driven programs.
Previous experience working within a franchise system is a plus.
Experience with new business prospecting and/or account management.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions
The position is situated in Canton, MA. Standard office environment. Occasional travel to markets or partners offices (approximately 25%). Salary
$90,248 - $177,155 per year The salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual placement within this range will vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, and location.
