Title
Inventory Analyst
Position Objective Works in accounting, production control shipping area.
Qualifications
ASB in Accounting required
Accounting experience with proficiencies in inventory control, inventory reconciliations, and reporting
Reliable, punctual, attention to detail
Good computer skills, fluent in AS400, Microsoft email and excel
Good organizational skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
Job Responsibilities
Monitor Inventory level variances between physical inventory and system inventory
Correct inventory databases
Perform and coordinate physical inventories
Ensure cycle counts are being conducted
Update finished goods every hour
Perform Variance analysis, explain and submit reports
Prepare month end reports
Participate in special projects as assigned
Work Environment Conditions
Inside environmental conditions, protected from weather conditions not necessarily temperature conditions.
Outside environmental conditions, no effective protection from weather.
Inside and outside environments apply.
Subject to extreme cold, temperature below 32 degrees for period of more than one hour
Subject to noise causing reason to shout to be heard above noise level.
Subject to hazards such as moving machinery, electrical currents, falling debris, exposure to chemicals, gases, high heat, or combustible material.
Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above one hundred degrees for periods of more than one hour.
Subject to unregulated atmospheric conditions caused by odors, fumes, gases, poor ventilation, and dust.
Subject to oils and other cutting fluids via touch or air.
Physical Activity Required for This Position
Climbing, ascending, or descending stairs and the like using feet & legs or hands & arms
Stooping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine & waist. Example: Close examination of material samples displayed at or below waist level.
Kneeling, bending legs at knee to come to rest on knee or knees.
Crouching, bending the body downward & forward by bending legs and spine.
Reaching, extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Example: giving signals, reaching for material or handle on item.
Standing, particularly for sustained periods of time. Example: monitoring process conditions.
Walking, moving out on foot to accomplish tasks.
Lifting, raising objects from a lower to higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. Degree of lifting: 5-25 lbs.
Fingering, picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm as in handling.
Grasping, applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm
Feeling, perceiving attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips
Talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of spoken words, via face to face or telephone.
Hearing, perceiving the nature of sounds with not less than a forty db loss @ 500 Hz, 1000 Hz and 2000 Hz with or without correction. Ability to receive verbal communications and make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on machined parts.
Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.
Crawling, moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
Pulling, using upper extremities to exert force to drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
Pushing, using the upper extremities to press against something with steady force to thrust forward, downward, or outward.
Visual
Machine operation, inspection, close assembly, clerical and administrative duties. Example: preparing and analyzing data entry, CRT exposure, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, using measurement devices or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
