Job Description Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Production Planning & Scheduling Business Owner ARP to join our Process Excellence Warehouse team in Mobile, Alabama. In a period of significant growth and ramp‑up, this role is crucial to ensuring our final assembly lines (FALs) and central teams can achieve their production targets. As a key liaison, you will identify process bottlenecks and develop agile, pragmatic solutions to drive planning adherence and overall supply‑chain performance.
Primary Responsibilities
Business Owner ARP (70%)
Governance, compliance, and ROI of our planning tools and processes.
Work closely with the Plan and Schedule Production community to ensure that new gap requests are clearly described and validated.
Assess compliance and match between ARP evolution and process FU.SD.01.
Exchange and align on business requirements with Business Owners and focal points from other functions (Manufacturing Engineering, Supply, Logistics, Quality, Finance).
Analyze business impacts and establish risk mitigation plans.
Prepare GAP Analysis AS‑IS and T0‑BE implementation @ G5.
Animate the Business Community: contribute to the design phase to ensure good understanding of the requirements.
Participate in the definition, prioritization and planning of new developments with SAFe teams, assessing and providing business value.
Support acceptance tests of new developments and validate solutions according to the need.
Run communication and engagement of relevant functions and validate training content.
Support process acceptance and impact analysis.
Work closely with other PIXP Business Owners (France, UK, Spain, Germany, and other markets).
Plan- and Schedule Production: customer support/focal point (30%)
Drive operational excellence by engaging local planning and supply‑chain teams to pinpoint and resolve pain points and bottlenecks.
Standardize planning processes: converge Master Production Scheduling and Demand Monitoring routines across programs.
Facilitate collaboration: build and maintain links with key supply‑chain stakeholders and foster a planning community.
Ensure data accuracy: support consolidation and verification of KPIs such as OTA and OTD.
Lead strategic initiatives: align with major transformation projects like Optiflow and ARP.
Process governance: create, maintain, and surveil all planning & scheduling industrial processes and methods.
Transformation leadership: guide involvement in major transformation projects such as ARP, EWM.

Qualifications (Your Boarding Pass)
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related discipline.
Master’s degree preferred.
10 years of work experience, including 5 years of relevant experience in supply‑chain management or project management.
Solid understanding of end‑to‑end supply‑chain, manufacturing processes, and production management.
Demonstrated experience leading lean/continuous improvement projects with tangible results; proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
Operational experience in implementing and optimizing industrial systems from conception to process management.
Experience managing complex projects with cross‑functional teams, including financial aspects.
Hands‑on experience with SAP essential; extended knowledge required.
APICS certification highly desirable.
Eligible to travel domestic and international (5 %).
Physical Requirements
Onsite or remote: 100 % onsite.
Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment.
Hearing: able to hear and participate in conversations and teleconferences.
Speaking: able to speak, deliver information, and participate in communications.
Equipment Operation: able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment.
Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, and electronic equipment up to 30 lbs (14 kg).
Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, and equipment up to 30 lbs (14 kg).
Pushing/ Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture.
Sitting: able to sit for long periods in meetings, working on computer.
Squatting/Kneeling: able to retrieve items stored on low shelves.
Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor weekly.
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice monthly.
Walking: able to walk through office and production areas, including uneven surfaces.
Use of personal protective equipment: required PPE includes safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators/masks, protective gloves; administrative positions require steel‑toed shoes.
