We are currently looking for an Operations Manager – Import and Export to join our team. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for logistics, operations, and service; someone who can build relationships and has strong communication and operational skills. You will be responsible for supporting the operations side of this branch. This is a great opportunity that will challenge you in all the right ways. Essential Job Functions

Effectively manage Branch staff Coaching, developing, and leading staff Receive, review, and process import & export documentation for accounts. Have a better‑than‑average understanding of Import & Export Regulations and other government agency regulations that govern exports. Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed, and released to carriers, customers, and agents in a timely manner. Obtain and create quotes for shipments and source the best method of transportation. Communicate with overseas agents to ensure proper pre‑alerts and documentation. Explore different options to reduce cost and increase revenues. Track and trace shipments and provide updates to clients and sales. Uphold a strong and professional relationship with airlines, transportation agencies, and sales. Demonstrate an emphasis on customer satisfaction per company policy. Maintain shipment files and ensure billing is completed in a timely fashion. Work with brokerage or CFS to coordinate and monitor the release of goods from the carrier, Customs, or other governmental agency examinations that may be required. Assist as a backup for alternate accounts. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Needed

High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s strongly desired. Minimum of 4 years experience with a freight forwarder or import/export agency in a similar role. International and domestic experience. Knowledge of incoterms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; along with math skills for dimension conversions. Highly organized and able to multi‑task paired with strong operational skills. Professional and courteous demeanor. Displays a flexible and open‑minded willingness to adapt to new environments and be a team player. Good ethical standards. Bi‑lingual or multi‑lingual welcomed but not required.
