The Operations Lead (OL) oversees store processes and supports an active selling culture by ensuring all aspects are maintained to documented company standards designed to drive sales. The OL provides expertise in all operational processes including opening, closing, training, and delegation of tasks while demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Perform store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, operational readiness, troubleshooting, team management, conditioning, and housekeeping, while ensuring security of the building, assets, and team members. Coordinate with the Operations Manager to optimize staffing for traffic, sales, and customer experience, including compliance with policies, meeting labor standards, and business metrics. Plan and execute daily/weekly zone workloads, assign tasks to meet store, department, sales goals, and guest engagement, ensuring timely completion. Support the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention, expense control, and overall store effectiveness and profitability. Drive productivity through training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and performance appraisal. Use daily interactions and team huddles to communicate, teach, and train topics that enhance the customer experience. Participate in freight processes for incoming freight and transitions, process freight, stock, and maintain a neat and organized store. Perform other duties as needed based on business requirements. Work nights and weekends as required. Qualifications & Competencies: At least 18 years old. High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension communication skills. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., or team lift 100 lbs. Ability to work independently and in a team. Strong attention to detail. Reliable, trustworthy, and ethical. Creates urgency, promotes teamwork, delegates appropriately, and motivates self and others. Ability to train, develop, motivate, and lead in a positive environment. Flexible and creative in handling multiple tasks with shifting priorities. Seniority level
