Full-Time | Day Shift
What You’ll Do As a
Shop Floor Inspector , you’ll be on the front lines of quality control, making sure every part fits, every weld meets standards, and all finished products match the production drawings. You’ll help maintain quality records, support the team, and ensure our products exceed customer expectations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Inspecting fit-ups and finished parts for accuracy and quality against production drawings.
Maintaining and reporting on the Quality Action Report (QAR) system.
Ensuring compliance with AWS and AISC standards.
Supporting a team environment focused on collaboration and quality improvement.
Assisting the QC lead with projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production.
2+ years of experience with quality systems in a QC function.
Direct steel fabrication experience.
Familiarity with AWS codes, AISC standards, and NDT methods.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, and attention to detail.
Musts
Ability to read and interpret steel detail drawings.
Comfortable working in a steel shop environment with exposure to noise, welding arcs, dust, and temperature extremes.
Capable of multitasking, meeting deadlines, and following procedures under supervision.
Preferred
Prior quality assurance inspection experience in a steel fabrication setting.
Experience with audit or system analysis of quality processes.
