Overview
New Tech Global is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector for an Oil and Gas Client in Morgan City, LA. Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Candidate will need to be flexible to work overtime as needed. Responsibilities
Conduct tests to determine quality of raw materials, bulk intermediate, and finished products. Inspect and verify incoming raw material and products to specifications. Maintain and update incoming inspection files, procedures, and related required documentation. Determine proper product configuration and performance using engineering instructions such as product prints. Compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Complete dispositions, documents, and reports for purchasing and quality engineers on nonconforming materials. Support internal and external audits. Assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence or nonconforming product. Qualifications
REQUIRED High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Associates Degree and a minimum of two (2) years related quality experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
