Global mold manufacturer and supplier in Grand Rapids seeks a Maintenance Manager to join their family‑centered culture. Responsibilities
Lead and train the maintenance team to ensure equipment runs smoothly and limits downtime of injection molding presses
Work with production to schedule preventive maintenance and maintain a robust preventative maintenance plan
Identify potential root causes for machine disruptions and delegate resolution
Perform maintenance projects as needed, identifying vendors and contractors
Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunctions of machinery
Analyze parts inventory and procure supplies when necessary
Maintain a high standard of good 5S practices
Report directly to the President of the company
Qualifications
High School Diploma, Associate’s, or Journeyman certificate
Strong mechanical and maintenance aptitude
5+ years experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment
Previous management/supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Willing to travel 15% of time regionally
