Company Overview Zipline Logistics is a growing third‑party logistics provider specializing in domestic freight solutions, including Full Truckload (FTL), Less‑than‑Truckload (LTL), intermodal, and expedited freight. Our mission is to simplify freight for shippers across North America through dependable service and innovative logistics solutions.
Responsibilities
Research and identify prospective shippers through outbound outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals).
Qualify prospects by understanding their freight needs, pain points, and decision‑making processes.
Generate meetings for the sales team with mid‑to‑large volume shippers.
Communicate Zipline’s transportation capabilities (FTL, LTL, etc.) clearly and effectively.
Collaborate with account executives and operations to build custom solutions.
Track all activity in the CRM and maintain a clean, organized sales pipeline.
Consistently meet or exceed lead generation and appointment‑setting targets.
Stay informed about industry trends, market rates, and competitor offerings.
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or sales (3PL industry strongly preferred).
Familiarity with FTL, LTL, intermodal, or brokerage services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
Self‑starter with strong time‑management and organizational skills.
Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a 3PL, freight brokerage, or carrier sales environment.
Working knowledge of routing, freight class, rate structures, and accessorial charges.
Use of prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or Apollo.
