Job Description Summary This position serves as a sophisticated thought partner, identifying issues and recommending best practices. The Manager leads functional projects and programs that enhance business processes, collaborates with teams to analyze trends, recommends improvements, and contributes to strategic initiatives that drive competitiveness.
Essential Responsibilities
Analyze global strategic investment opportunities for corporate development.
Assist in sourcing, qualification, financial modeling, due diligence, and deal closing activities.
Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams to support deals and portfolio companies.
Identify and qualify new investment ideas and companies from internal and external sources.
Maintain strong relationships with executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders.
Deliver insightful reports to senior leaders on the dynamics of the venture ecosystem.
Provide strategic guidance on venture investments and potential growth opportunities.
Manage communication and collaboration across teams during the deal process.
Evaluate potential investments and their alignment with business goals.
Support ongoing relationship management with portfolio companies to drive value.
Expected Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation and Benefits The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $111,500 to $191,950. This role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. PayPal does not charge candidates any fees for courses, applications, resume reviews, interviews, background checks, or onboarding.
