PGL (Perimeter Global Logistics) Position responsible for meeting or exceeding client expectations, responding quickly to challenges, performing tasks with accuracy, assisting team members, and building strong client relationships. Responsibilities
Plan, develop, or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities. Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to coordinate delivery times and locations. Review invoices, work orders, consumption reports, or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and assign work accordingly. Organize requests, facilitate open action items, and provide timely notifications or communication. Supervise internal resources to execute daily objectives and requests effectively. Facilitate the execution of wholesale and ecommerce fulfillment operations. Supervise inventory and cycle count processes. Provide accurate and timely data for KPI management and customer communication. Inspect warehouses, vehicle fleets, and equipment; order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements as needed. Schedule or monitor air or surface pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials. Respond to customers or shippers with questions or complaints regarding storage and distribution services. Develop and document standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, shipping, or salvaging products or materials. Implement plans for facility modification or expansion (equipment purchases, space allocation, or design changes). Track and trace goods in transit and expedite orders when necessary. Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers; carry needed tools or supplies and return them after use. Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information. Read work orders or receive instructions to determine assignments or material/equipment needs. Record units handled or moved using daily production sheets or work tickets. Move freight, stock, or materials to and from storage, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers using appropriate equipment. Sort cargo before loading and unloading. Work Activities

Education and Experience
Years of Experience: 5 - 7 years of progressive supervisory experience in Freight Forwarding Warehousing and/or warehouse fulfillment operations Inventory and production planning experience Willing to work variable schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays Hazmat certification a plus Education: Industry related degree and/or certification Knowledge
