Assistant Manager, Broadcast Engineering

The Assistant Manager, Broadcast Engineering is responsible for assisting with all technical aspects of the Yankee Stadium Control Room, TV truck dock, broadcast booths and other IT related matters. The candidate should have excellent project‑management skills, working knowledge of A/V equipment, and be willing to learn both software and hardware applications.
Primary Responsibilities
Confirm audio and video feeds between NYY Scoreboard & TV Rightsholder on site
Maintain equipment and quality control
Proficient in routing and building multiviewers
Comfortable setting up cameras, lights and other A/V equipment
Knowledge of Daktronics, Ross and Evertz systems
Cable management and documentation
Maintain, configure, and repair equipment as needed or facilitate RMA process
Proven ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot problems
Working knowledge of IT Support procedures
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in a related field; Broadcast/Communications or minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Knowledge of Daktronics, RTS, Evertz Router, Ross Switcher (Carbonite/Ultrix), Calrec Audio console, Dante Audio Network, Cobranet Audio Network, Audio Architect, Ross Expression CG, Ross Tessera, Image Video, familiarity with Stadium truck docks, Riedel Bolero, audio decoding and distribution equipment.
Protocol TV, IPTV and other formats and broadcast and ENG content capturing and distribution internal and enterprise solutions. Possess knowledge of digital and analog audio systems and distribution networks.
AutoCad experience a plus.
EIC Broadcast production truck/stadium a plus.
Salary range: $95,000 – $120,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package.
