A precision manufacturing leader serving high-impact industries like aerospace, defense, HVAC, and heavy equipment is seeking a hands‑on Quality Control Manager to strengthen and scale our ISO‑certified quality program, lead continuous improvement, and serve as a trusted partner to both customers and internal teams. This leader will oversee the systems, compliance, floor inspection, and customer issue resolution while developing a strong, engaged team.
Base Pay Range $100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr
Quality Control Manager Responsibilities
Lead the Quality department
Develop and execute short- and long‑range quality goals aligned with company strategy
Own and enhance the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Facilitate PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, SPC, Gage R&R, and First Article inspections
Create and maintain inspection procedures and acceptance criteria
Support production with root cause analysis and corrective action
Make critical decisions on non‑conforming material, deviations, and production holds
Communicate directly with customers’ quality teams and manage complaint resolution
Conduct supplier quality oversight, including audits and corrective actions
Provide training in ISO standards, safety protocols, inspection techniques, and documentation
Lead internal audits, quality recognition programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
Support customer visits and occasional travel to OEM client sites
Quality Control Manager Requirements
5+ years as a Quality Manager in a custom machining / OEM manufacturing environment
Strong command of ISO 9001, GD&T, tolerances, SPC, PFMEA, APQP, and PPAP
Demonstrated success working with major OEMs
Proficiency with Epicor / Kinetic ERP, CAD or SolidWorks, Microsoft 365, Minitab (or statistical analysis software)
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and apply statistical methods
Bachelor's degree or proven leadership experience
Quality certifications such as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, CMQ/OE, CQE, CQA, or ISO Lead Auditor preferred
Product engineering or product development exposure preferred
