Job Summary At Diverzify+ and our Family of Brands, our Installation Supervisor is responsible for inspecting job sites prior to installation. You will interact with customers in coordinating, managing, and completing their projects, along with any concerns are issues that may arise. While working closely with our customers, sales teams, managers, and installers, you should be able to multitask and wear many hats and supervise the installation from the start of the job and see the job through to completion.

Job Responsibilities

Inspect flooring substrates for moisture, alkaline levels, and overall suitability

Assess existing flooring and residue for compatibility with new materials

Check wall substrates for defects that may affect installation quality

Ensure proper climate control, lighting, and job site accessibility (elevator, parking, loading dock)

Arrange material storage on-site and visit job sites before/during installation to prevent issues

Communicate with job contacts to address concerns and resolve installation problems promptly

Advise on job site safety and mediate issues between installers and contacts

Inspect for defective materials and communicate job needs to Installation Managers

Train installers on-site in new products or techniques

Deliver materials/sundries to support job progress

Perform pre-punch inspections while installers are present and post-inspections as needed

Identify and validate job deficiencies

Ensure installers have current plans and assist with punch list or installation tasks to close jobs

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

OSHA 10 Training Certification

Demonstrated knowledge of the products in the floor covering industry

Demonstrated ability in mathematics, specifically fractions, measurements, and reading a ruler.

Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written reports and documentation

Demonstrated ability to visually recognize conformance and nonconformance of flooring products

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints

Ability to do daily reporting digitally including moisture testing, pre-mob job reporting and daily reporting of assigned projects to the Installation Manager

Be willing to work nights or weekends if the need arises

Preferred Qualifications

OSHA 30 Training Certification or Ability to Obtain.
