Position Summary As a Strategic Long-Range Planner you will impact PSA Airlines' growth by decision modeling, analytical reporting, data management, and maintenance forecasting to support successful implementation of PSA's maintenance requirements. The planner will utilize historical and predictive modeling to create the Maintenance Planning Playbook and define the Heavy, Intermediate, and Line Maintenance Footprint.

Job Responsibilities

Performs strategy formulation, development, implementation, and evaluation of aircraft maintenance plans to optimize efficiency and minimize cost.

Leads weekly and periodic reviews of Airframe activity with analysis of past and future data to assess fleet, program, labor, and facility trends and improve event opportunity and asset management.

Capacity and demand modeling including Annual, 5-Year, and 10-Year Maintenance Plan.

Develop Long-Range Material Forecasting model to smooth demand over a rolling 24-month period.

Optimize aircraft maintenance visit scenario modeling to minimize downtime, reduce costs, and maximize fleet utilization.

Provide detailed analysis of check visit performance to plan.

Communicate and review performance with Tech Ops Support Teams to support continuous improvement.

Coordinate maintenance allocation requirements with senior Tech Ops, Network Planning, and Finance Leadership.

Coordinate Heavy & Intermediate Check plans with Supply Chain Leaders and internal/external facilities to ensure advance planning.

Meet regularly with Planning and Production leadership to align activities with Check plans and requirements.

Develop implementation plans for system-wide maintenance capabilities embracing the Maintenance Footprint, Manpower, and facilities for long and short-term maintenance requirements.

Prepare fleet plans, HMV, Line Maintenance, and Hangar scheduled plans for efficient execution by production.

Cross-functional integration with Tech Ops Leaders to achieve goals.

Develop and maintain Monthly and Annual Maintenance Planning performance reports.

Qualifications Required

Associate degree or equivalent work experience.

2 years Aviation Maintenance Planning experience including LINE Maintenance Planning and Maintenance Operations Planning.

Working knowledge of aircraft inspections and maintenance programs.

Experience with Programs Planning and Inventory Planning Methodology.

Advanced forecasting and modeling skills.

Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

English speaking/reading/writing proficiency.

Authorized to work in the U.S. if hired.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree.

Advanced Excel skills (Vlookup, Pivot Table, complex formulas, advanced formatting).

Long Range Planning Methodology experience.

Three years of A&P experience and CRF 65 compliance or equivalent military experience.

Additional Information Supervisory Responsibility:

This is not a supervisory position.

Delegation:

In absence, responsibilities delegated to Manager of Heavy Maintenance Planning.

Authorities:

None.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. Standard office equipment is used.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands are those typical of an office role; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
