Epitec is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our automotive client's team. As a Program Manager, the candidate will play a pivotal role in managing external suppliers, including drafting and negotiating technical Statements of Work.
Top Responsibilities
Draft and manage technical Statements of Work (eSOW) with suppliers.
Plan and manage hardware and software releases, including change control and issue resolution.
Oversee vehicle-specific application releases and integration testing.
Cascade requirements and secure sign-off with suppliers.
Author and manage GPDS deliverables (DFMEA, SCCAF, VSCS, NID, DVP&R).
Support engineering and launch activities as needed.
Key Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
Experience:
3+ years in supplier management or similar role.
Skills Required:
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Experience managing external suppliers and negotiating SOWs.
Expertise in hardware/software release planning and issue management.
Familiarity with automotive product development processes (Ford GPDS preferred).
Knowledge of electrical architecture, protocols, and integration testing.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience testing hardware/software in automotive environments.
