Lead and support transportation staff, including bus drivers and monitors, ensuring efficient operations and punctual student transportation. Manage driver routes, conduct safety inspections, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations. Coordinate with school administrators, parents, and stakeholders to address transportation issues. Investigate complaints and incidents, gather information, and resolve community concerns. Mentor and train new drivers, emphasizing safety and policy adherence. Handle payroll and administrative tasks related to transportation scheduling. Utilize transportation software for route planning and suggest process improvements. Operate radios for communication and provide backup driving support when needed. Monitor bus maintenance and cleanliness per policy and regulations. Respond to emergencies, investigate accidents, and assist the Transportation Supervisor as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma with at least six (6) years of relevant experience; experience as a bus driver preferred. Application Deadline:
