Test Lab Administrator 3
to join the Advanced Weapons group in Northridge, CA. The successful candidate will help manage multiple integration laboratories, track inventory, and create processes for lab operations. The lab environments will cover a broad spectrum of electronic devices from the component level to the fully integrated system. The selected candidate will be involved in lab operations including laboratory design, test planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting. As a member of the Test and Evaluation Engineering department, the candidate will support stakeholder programs in the integration and testing of various systems in collaboration with multiple engineering teams. Responsibilities
Manage and support the development of lab spaces in collaboration with engineers and security to develop and test missile components and subsystems Identify efficiencies across the organization while meeting program needs Architect integration facilities by specifying state-of-the-art lab equipment, infrastructure requirements, and managing hardware procurement Integrate and test hardware and software on a wide range of systems in collaboration with engineers Provide management briefings on lab status and progress Oversee daily lab operations and activities in compliance with policies and procedures Work with internal and external customers to define and document instrumentation, data requirements, and test planning including data acquisition, processing, and analysis to satisfy test objectives Maintain lab spaces to ensure organization, cleanliness, and safety Organize data pertaining to lab equipment and hardware for tracking Create and roll out lab processes and documentation on how the lab operates Ensure adherence to lab rules and guidelines Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree in STEM with 3+ years of experience Test Lab Environment Experience Experience with Test and Evaluation processes and procedures supporting management and engineering tasks Experience with test procedures, development, and execution Knowledge of test equipment (digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.) Ability to read and comprehend mechanical and electrical schematics Current US Government DoD Interim Secret security clearance or higher Preferred Qualifications
Top Secret Clearance Knowledge of software integration Troubleshooting systems and hardware setups Effective communication and detailed organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Salary information: Primary level salary range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00. The salary range represents a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, including scope of position, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Depending on the position, overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays and PTO.
