What you will do
Ensure high-quality products are fresh, ready, and available in the café
Ensure shelves are clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products
Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
Be an effective team member
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas
Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution
Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality
Drive the performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; minimize waste; provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assist members with purchasing decisions and locations; resolve member issues
Act as a brand ambassador; develop and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners; manage priorities and timelines; communicate progress and information; identify opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
