Overview
Global Product Manager (Infrastructure Solutions) responsible for managing the product offering focused on the development and success in the Commercial and Industrial UPS markets and Healthcare Manufacturing Customers. This role supports global business growth, coordinates with Vertiv Regional Business teams, and ensures comprehensive strategies to achieve business goals. The position prioritizes product and customer requirements and defines the go-to-market and marketing plan globally. Reports to the Director of Global Product Management and interacts with field and account sales teams in the US and global regions, sales operations, and business leadership executives. Responsibilities
Gain deep insight into the market and business trends impacting customers and their approach to solving changing needs in their environments Provide leadership and coordination of the global business case to position Vertiv for growth in target segments Establish and manage product pricing in line with customer and Vertiv requirements Collaborate with Sales teams to ensure close alignment of technical requirements and evaluation of business opportunities Collaborate with sales leadership on target market opportunities, including definition of unique product features and key marketing requirements for growth Research market trends, industry trends, and competitive landscape Track and provide offering trend analysis and insights to the Product Marketing and Global Offering Management Teams Support regional marketing programs to address market opportunities and customer needs Support customer meetings and industry trade events related to target product segments Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or other related discipline 5+ years relevant experience in product management, technical sales, or business management Professional experience with electronic devices and/or data center industry is a plus Experience with data analysis and ability to effectively communicate findings to varied audiences Demonstrated competence in visual and verbal communication, problem solving, and project management Positive, goal-oriented, data-driven, and reliable with strong attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, and other business applications About Vertiv and Core Principles
