Global Power Components is a privately held manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks and large modular enclosures for housing fully‑equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We have moved operations into a newly renovated 300,000‑sq‑ft facility that will foster our continued growth as we continue to be recognized as the undisputed leader in our industry. Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead and optimize production planning and execution as our company evolves from an Engineer‑to‑Order (ETO) model into a scalable, medium‑volume manufacturing operation. Responsibilities
Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring alignment with operational goals and business growth targets. Lead the transition from ETO to repeatable, scalable manufacturing processes focused on efficiency, cost control, and quality. Execute day‑to‑day operations through a seasoned team of production supervisors; provide leadership, coordination, and accountability. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (supply chain, engineering, quality, etc.) to ensure production readiness and resource availability. Implement and refine production planning systems (ERP/MRP), workflows, and reporting tools to increase visibility and control. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Manage internal coordination for material availability, capacity planning, and shop floor execution. Promote a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and innovation throughout the production team. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management. 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing or production management roles. Experience in both ETO (Engineer to Order) and CTO (Configured to Order) manufacturing. Experience in scaling operations / change management. Experience with ERP Systems and digital inventory management tools. Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in project management or supply chain. Familiarity with Smartsheet or Epicor. Work Requirements
